College Algebra
College Algebra is a study of systems of linear equations and inequalities. It is focused on analyzing characteristics of different types of functions and their graphs. This course helps prepare students for trigonometry, calculus and other higher-level mathematics classes.
Topics in College Algebra include:
1. Systems of Linear Equations & Inequalities
2. Properties of Functions & Their Graphs
3. Properties of Piecewise Functions & Their Graphs
4. Graphing Functions using Transformations
5. Properties of Polynomial, Rational, Logarithmic & Exponential Functions
Students should have a pencil, scientific calculator, colored pencils, dry erase markers and graph paper.
**Absence must be EXCUSED to receive credit for work not turned in on the due date. Or it can be submitted through Google classroom prior to the beginning of your assigned class period on the day of absence. **
