Honors Algebra II B
The following topics will be covered in Honors Algebra IIA: Review of Real Numbers, First-Degree Equations and Inequalities, Polynomials and Exponents, Rational Expressions and Complex Numbers, Rational Exponents and Radicals, and Linear Equations and Inequalities in Two Variables. In Honors Algebra IIB, we will cover these topics: Systems of Equations and Inequalities, Quadratic Equations and Inequalities, Functions and Relations, Conic Sections, Series and Sequences, and College-level Methods of Proof. In addition to these topics, we will also review other areas that are necessary for success in Honors Algebra II. Our focus for these topics will come from the Ohio Content Standards. Students should have a scientific calculator and graph paper.
