Honors Pre-Calculus A
The following topics will be covered in Pre-Calculus A: Matrices and Matrix Operations, Functions and Their Graphs, Polynomial and Rational Functions and Their Graphs, and Exponential and Logarithmic Functions. In Pre-Calculus B, we will cover these topics: Trigonometric Functions and Their Graphs, Applications of Trigonometric Functions, and Polar Coordinates and Vectors. In addition to these topics, we will also review other areas that are necessary for success in Pre-Calculus. Our focus for these topics will come from the Common Core Standards. Students should have a scientific calculator, colored pencils, and graph paper.
